Privacy Policy

Draft. The texts have not been reviewed by a lawyer and the operator's details are not filled in.
This policy explains what data Retro.mobi collects, why, and how you can control it. The service consists of the mobile app and the retro.mobi website.
What we collect
Account: your username and email address. If you sign in with VK, Yandex, Telegram, Apple or Google, we receive an identifier from the provider and, when the provider shares it, a verified email address. We do not have a password.
Collection: the photos of the items you scan (stored in our cloud storage after the background is removed), the item's condition, whether it has a box, your notes and the estimated value.
Payments: for the Pro subscription the payment goes through YooKassa. YooKassa receives and stores your card data; we never see it. We keep the amount, date, status and the identifier of the payment method used for renewals.
Technical data: the time of your last activity, error reports from the app and the website, and anonymous usage events (for example, "subscription screen opened"). These contain no email or name, only an internal identifier.
Region: the app detects your country from your IP address through the third-party service api.country.is, to show a suitable payment method. If the service is unavailable, the device language is used.
What we use it for
To recognise the model from a photo, keep your shelf, calculate its value, take payments, protect the service from abuse and fix errors.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Your public shelf
Your shelf is available at retro.mobi/shelf/your-name to anyone with the link and may appear in search engines. It shows your username, the photos of your items, their models, condition, estimated value and your notes on the items. Your email is not shown.
You can hide the shelf in the app's profile. A hidden shelf does not open from the link and is left out of the sitemap. Search engines and messengers may keep a copy of a page they have already seen for some time.
Do not put personal data in item notes: notes are visible on the public shelf.
Who receives your data
Sign-in providers (VK, Yandex, Telegram, Apple, Google), so you can sign in. The payment service YooKassa, to take payments. The hosting provider and the cloud storage the service runs on. We run the error-tracking server ourselves, so error reports do not go to third parties. For usage statistics we may use Yandex.Metrica on the website and AppMetrica in the app; only anonymous events are sent to them.
We disclose data to public authorities only when the law requires it.
Where and for how long
Account and collection data is kept while the account exists. When you delete the account we delete the collection and related records; payment records we must keep longer, as required by accounting law.
The app keeps a copy of your profile, shelf and catalogue on the device so it works offline. The copy is erased when you sign out.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion of the account, restriction of processing, and withdraw consent. Residents of the European Union also have data portability and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Residents of Russia have the rights set by Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data".
To use these rights, write to the address below.
Children
The service is not meant for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If the policy changes in a significant way we will say so in the app or on the website. The date of the latest update is at the top of the document.
